About Me
I am a woman of contrasts: sophisticated, sensual, and intellectual--and, at the same time, funny, down-to-earth, warm, and spontaneous. I'm feisty and challenging, yet loving and compassionate. I'm well-educated, talented, accomplished, and well-traveled--but definitely not a snob. . . Having grown up in South Florida, I moved up north to go to Wellesley, and have since lived in England and Brazil. I teach college English and have a busy writing practice. I love art and literature--and dabble in both. I love music, theater, movies, and anything involving other cultures. I'm a devotee of gardening and yoga. I'm not only an irrepressible cat-lover, but the mother of three happily-married, successful children--and the grandmother of five cherubs.
