An old friend read my profile and said it was too normal, you know - I'm smart, nice, fun, love to travel, to cook, enjoy sports and working out, entertainment, like to dress up, dress down, like to plan, to be spontaneous - who doesn't! He didn't, however, have any suggestions how to make this the most exciting profile you've ever read. OK, so, I had a date the other night and I asked him what was the most exciting thing he had ever done for himself, and he could only give me examples of what he had done with someone else, or a date, and while there's nothing wrong with that you still need to do things for yourself? For me, I went parasailing in the Bahamas, something I wanted to do for a long time, I did it for myself, I enjoyed the rush of "flying/floating" without jumping out of an airplane (I'm adventurous, but have my limits), the breathtaking view and the quiet of the sky around you just amazing, and then I met up with friends and went to the beach. Self is as important as unity. Something else I've learned from dates recently is the rules of the first, second, third and maybe fourth dates and what should happen, oddly each differed. I have no rule book. I just want to meet someone, have fun and let the chips fall where they may. If you would like to throw the rule book out the window, then let's chat!
