Thank you for reading my profile. I've been away from home (New Orleans) for the last two and a half years working on a project in California. It's taken me a few months to relax and get back to myself. You'd be surprised what happens to a house and its contents when it's vacant for too long. Hmmm. In some ways my house is a lot like me.
I have a lot of friends who tell me I am someone they can always count on. I try to live my life by the Golden Rule. I consider my interest in people and their well-being one of my greatest gifts. However I've also learned is that I have to take care of myself or I'm no good to anyone else. Which brings me to this site. Among those friends I mentioned are a half dozen Jewish men. What they have in common is their ability to love their wives and children and families unconditionally. They're great people who I have had the pleasure of knowing, some for decades.
I have a degree in psychology which I believe gives me some insight into people. I follow the school of Positive Psychology out of Penn. It's relatively new but as a result I'm optimistic and I look forward to each and every day.
