I’m a man with a plan. Literally. I’ve even got a calendar note that reminds me I’m buying my second business in 58 days. Alas, my job isn’t glamorous – I buy and grow businesses – but it beats working for The Man, and it allows me to pour my creativity into something lucrative. Yes, I’m a goal-setter, and if that means I have to track down 3 of your camp friends you haven’t spoken to since 1998 to attend your surprise birthday party, that’s just how I roll. I believe in taking action, not in “what-ifs”. While this philosophy has left me sleeping on the beach in Spain because no pensions were vacant, I still can’t think of another way to live. For the most part, however, I’m levelheaded and always improving. I work out religiously. I’m trying to master Italian cuisine. And if you were hungry while you waited for your big job interview, I’d run to 7-11 to pick you up a turkey sandwich. If love is an act of discovery, there’s something special about the beginning, where we first learn what makes each other tick. So let’s not plan too far ahead. We don’t need a calendar to let us know what feels right.
