About Me
My friends would describe me as outgoing, funny, smart, and witty, someone who is equally comfortable in running shoes and sweatshirts as I am in heels and dresses. I'm shy at first, but tend to warm up quickly to people who make me laugh.
After grad school at IU (go Hoosiers!), and college in Ohio, I left snowy winters and the Midwest and moved to North Carolina to take a job in higher ed. I like running (just ran my first half marathon!), cooking for my friends, traveling, and watching marathons of bad TV while baking. My family is really important to me, and though they live in Illinois and Indiana, I talk to my sister almost daily. I love North Carolina, and am starting to call it home-I love discovering it, whether going to the beach, the mountains, or anywhere in between. I hate bad grammar and bad spelling. I read the New York Times almost daily, and love learning-I want to go back to school sometime soon. My favorite thing to do is sit on a porch, drinking wine, while laughing with friends.
