About Me
Let's see, by day, I’m an attorney (as if we don’t have enough here),
but it’s my life outside of work that really defines who I am. I’m definitely the outdoorsy type (though not too crunchy), and my latest endeavor is learning how to white water kayak. I also like to bike on the Mt. Vernon trail, hike in Shenandoah National Park or Sugarloaf, and ski in Vermont. And when I need to let my creative juices flow (I told you I’m a lawyer, so that’s not happening much at work), I love taking pottery classes and cooking. With pottery, I’ve come a long way since my first time, when my bowl looked like something my 8-year-old nephew could have made… complete with a hole in the bottom and everything.
In some ways, I’m really laid back and I don’t sweat the small stuff, but in others, I’m more of a “get up and go” person because I don’t want to miss anything. The dichotomy seems to work out for me because I always have fun plans, yet I know how to relax and enjoy them.
