What I do: I'm in my second year of an MS in Agriculture, Food, and Environment at Tufts. I'm passionate about food (I'm vegan), nutrition, farming/gardening, and the environment. Since I study it, I don't talk about it that much outside of school right now. I would love to meet someone who has similar interests and leanings as I do on those topics. I also teach Hebrew school to 3-5th graders.
Who I am: I love to go out and have fun, but I also really enjoy hanging around and watching tv/movies or cooking and playing board games with friends. I'm dry and sarcastic but also really silly. I also have a pretty serious, intellectual side. I'm a big blog/website reader -- I like to know what's going on in the world. I love to sing and always sing along to any song playing on the radio. You would have to be comfortable with that!
I have trouble pinning down exactly what kind of person I am. But I think that's a good thing. Sometimes I'm an out-on-the-town girl. Sometimes I'm a stay inside in my pajamas girl. I'm part hippie and part geek. I'm one part super liberal and another part happily traditional. I am not currently very active in my Jewish observance, but I was for most of my 20s. Right now, I could go either way: falling back into observance, or being more laid back about it. But being Jewish is an important part of my life, and I want to have a Jewish household and raise Jewish children. I'm open to where other people are in their lives vis-a-vis tradition and observance. You just have to be open to where I'm at, too...
I'm really looking for someone who will encourage me/us to go out and do new, fun things, but also be happy to sit around and just chill out. If that sounds like a fun mix to you, maybe you should be contacting me right about.... now.
