About Me

Like most people on here, this is not an easy task. I will say that I need laughter in my life. Without my sense of humor I'd be at a loss. I think we all need that. I am fortunate to enjoy life with a great family (two great kids who have been on their own, one is now married) and lifelong friends. I've been divorced many years but have always been open to a committed relationship. And, like many of you, I have stories(that's where the sense of humor comes in handy). I like to be active (walking. working out at gym) and love music and dancing, movies, heading to NY for a show. But, I also enjoy and need my quiet times with a great book. I love to travel, whether it is a quick road trip (with no particular destination) or flying off to somewhere special. An animal lover, especially dogs, I've been lucky enough to spend time in Utah volunteering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. What am I hoping to find?.....(or my "encouraging" friends are hoping I will find), an intelligent, confident man who enjoys conversation. It can be about current events or the last great movie you saw. I've never been accused of having a shortage of words so I do like conversation. It's important to me that he has a sense of humor and also appreciates mine. A man who is active that I can do and share things with (but not all, everyone needs their own interests at times). Someone who cares about family. Let's see...I will sum it up and say I am looking for a man with the five senses: decency, responsibility, self, humor, and rhythm (ok, maybe that last one is not as important, but it's a bonus) When I asked my friends what to say for this part I got comments like, "you tell a great story". you are so easy (ok, i hope they meant low maintenance and even-tempered), "you have an amazing memory (now isn't that the quality you were searching for?), "your friends can always count on you", "you can talk to anyone", "you make people feel comfortable", "you're the one that gets us moving", "you have an amazing sense of humor", "love your quick wit". So, bottom line..I come with references.
