About Me
I may be one of the few people in Boston who does this, and I get made fun of for doing it all the time, but I won't stop smiling at strangers. I grew up in CA, and even though I've been living on the east coast for several years, a few habits just won't go away. (But I wouldn't want them too, anyway!)
I'm a huge fan of the arts. In the past year, I've seen Chinglish at the Lyric Theater, Chihuly (the man and his glass) at the MFA, and Jo Koy at a comedy club downtown.
A recent hobby I started about 8 months ago is salsa dancing, which has finally gotten me to wear high heels when I go out. I appreciate how welcoming the community is out here.
If you like to eat, you might be interested to know that I love to cook. I'm mostly into eating healthy food because I have more energy and stamina in my day. In fact, I used to write cooking columns for a Jewish newspaper after college and am in the process of writing a cookbook. My claim to fame: a red pepper sauce over pasta with sautéed garlic arugula. It's a secret recipe for now...but it'll be out soon enough.
