About Me

Welcome to my profile, make yourself at home :) I am soon to be a licensed lawyer living in the city (No, it’s nothing like Suits, although it is filmed outside my building!). I am highly motivated, set very high standards for myself and work very hard to meet them. Although that keeps me very busy with work, I always ensure to make time for the important things in life, friends, family, and simply remembering to stop and smell the roses every once in a while. After surviving far, far too much school and with my articling year at a Bay Street litigation firm nearly complete, I am looking forward to some much needed time off this summer before jumping back into the working world. I hope to make the most of it with lots of sunshine, new people and travel! I moved downtown last summer and am still amazed by how much more exploring there is to do. It seems that I am always finding new restaurants, bars, live music and other buried treasures, sometimes right in my backyard! Exploring the city with friends is among my favorite activities, and I’m always up for trying some place new. I love animals and have a big soft spot for all things cute and cuddly. Although, I have no real desire to get a cat (they’re basically just roommates that don’t like you all that much, and I've already had some of those!) I would love to get a dog in the future. I am also really into travelling and was lucky enough to spend 2 months in Europe a couple summers ago. I would love to see more of the world and am in the process of planning my next trip! Recently I have taken up art and have been teaching myself to draw. After drawing cartoons for the school student newspaper in law school, I have been experimenting with more realistic styles. Don’t ask me to draw your portrait just yet. But I am getting better! Overall, I'm at a pretty great point in my life and I’m looking for a partner in crime to be a part of it!
