I am sitting in a cozy local restaurant/bar with my old friends who are helping me write my profile; I think they are beginning to have a fight. He thinks that I should tell you that my new favorite tool is my new electric soldering gun-which it is. He also thinks that I should tell you that I am a charming, attractive, sexy artist ,great cook especially chocolate desserts and that I can tolerate Boston sports teams. He also notices that other people mention travel, exercise and adventure and since I enjoy all of these things, he thinks I should definitely include them. She really wants me to meet someone but she is wary of this process and thinks this whole sales pitch is ridiculous and can't possibly capture who I am. She says I am a smart, sensitive , capable woman who should be choosy. After all ,she says I am a successful child therapist, the mother of two wonderful daughters, a great friend who knows how to shop and find a bargain. I smile to myself as I listen to them laugh, agree and disagree, as they freely banter back and forth. What they don't see is that I am looking for someone who can share just this kind of conversation and connection.
