About Me
Writing about myself can be a daunting task, but then becomes an entertaining challenge. I've been described as fun, passionate, kind, and a lover of life. I am very close with my 18 year old daughter who is now a college freshman (out of town). I have an occupational and physical therapy private practice (since 1989) with two offices in the area. A lot of my energy has, in the past, gone into my practice, with my current plan to decrease time needed there. I love what I do, but it doesn't consume me. If I could have another career, it would be working with manatees or dolphins somewhere sunny (although I do love change of seasons). I have a big place in my heart for Florida, and the University of Florida. I almost always have music playing at home and definitely in my car. I like trying new things, as well as watching movies, talking, dancing, reading, and traveling. My little slice of heaven is a great beach. I like being told that I look younger than my age, and it helps motivate me to work out several times a week. I was taking Krav Maga for four years, until I recently decided i was tired of getting beaten up (though I held my own, proudly). I love strong men who can also need me. I feel a relationship is give and take. I am happy that chivalry is not dead - extra credit for opening doors and so on for me. I am very grateful for the friends and family I have in my life and all the joy they bring me.
