Have you ever noticed that one day, you wake up and it feels like autumn? That day, and the day it starts smelling like spring, are my two favorite markers of time.
I am a happy-go-lucky, grounded person with a snarky sense of humor.
One of my favorite things about being new to New York City is watching other people's reactions when I make eye contact with them passing by on my way to work. I hope I never grow out of passing out nods and smiles.
I suffer from perpetual wanderlust and I'm trying to teach myself how to plant roots in one place for a while. It certainly helps that living in this vibrant city feels like traveling, every day. It also helps that I moved to the city for a job that I care a lot about. I work for a non-profit that inspires people to give of their time and energy to causes they care about. Life is pretty great.
