About Me
Grad school brought me to TX a few years ago, but I'm still definitely a Yankee from NEW Jersey (don't leave off the "New" b/c then it sounds trashy) ). It seems like I travel a lot. I've taught elementary school for several years & (usually) love teaching kindergarten. Apparently people who don't know me well think I'm soft spoken, but my friends find this "allegation" shocking. I tend to put my foot in my mouth a lot, too (it's usually just b/c I'm being honest). I love the beach & crave a nice little beach house of my own. I enjoy tennis & yoga, and love to read & travel. I'm lucky enough to have friends who are spread out around the world, so I have lots of places to visit & stay:) I enjoy the laid back life in TX, as compared to NJ. Yes, I have met Bubba. I'm still recovering from that. I don't say "fixin' to," but sometimes I catch "ya'all" coming out of my mouth. Then I remember that I'm actually from New Jersey.
