About Me

I am a passionate person in pretty much all aspects of my life: job, kids, and friendships. I have a good idea of who I am, strengths and weaknesses, but I'm constantly learning. While my kids are, of course, the most important thing in my life, I'm not looking for a dad for them. I certainly would like for them to have another male role model who can show what it means to be a man who is loving and caring and smart and funny. I think all girls need that in their lives - including me. I know that I need to be with someone who is outgoing and likes to make plans. Passivity is a huge turn off for me. I like doing things that are unique or engaging. When I get the chance, I love to see live music or theater - it combines passion and talent being shared by someone - and I think that is a blast. Given the pace of my life though, I am also content to stay home on the couch and watch a movie. I was raised Jewish and am raising my daughters in that way, but I lean a bit toward Buddhist beliefs. I think perhaps kindness and compassion are the greatest gifts that one person can offer another, and valuing that over money or status is essential in a partner for me.
