I want to preface my self-summary with the following:
How many of you feel it necessary to lie about your age in order to meet the person you are seeking? Is your excuse for doing that akin to, "Well, everyone else lies about their age, so why not me?" From my perspective, a person who lies about their age is a person who lacks self-confidence. You're just one of many who feel, "When he meets me he'll dismiss my Pinocchio lie because he'll be more cognizant of my many redeeming qualities."
If my statement above applies to you, then don't bother reading about me. With deference, you're probably not the person I seek for a lasting togetherness. However, I do wish you luck in your search.
As a result of my preface remarks, I would guess my search has been narrowed down now to about 30% of the women on this site. That's okay. I prefer it that way. Maybe I'll get lucky within the confines of that thirty percentile group. :-)
Disclosure: As I type on 12/15/2014, I am celebrating my 72nd b-day. I'm proud of it!!
Retired N.Y.C. detective. Also retired from law enforcement in the State of Florida. Former court reporter, business school teacher, business school administrator. My current passion is day trading. When I resided in New York I was a tournament level paddleball player. Love to golf, bowl, play Scrabble, the stock market, and enjoy life. I like most genres of music. I stay in shape by going to the gym. Oh, and I used to bake and sell cheesecakes from my abode :-) (if you're familiar with 'Junior's' in Brooklyn, then you'll know what my cheesecakes taste like). That was more of a hobby than anything else. Hoping to meet that 'special someone'. Please do not respond if you are a smoker.
DISCLOSURE: MY PHOTOS ARE DATED FROM 2011 UP TO NOVEMBER 2014. THEY WERE NOT PHOTOSHOPPED. I'M NOT INTO DECEPTION. I ONLY ASK FOR RECIPROCATION.
