I cherish family and friends and am loving, generous, genuine, spiritual, spirited and love to laugh and learn new things. I am a firm believer in the key to having it all is believing that you do.
Drawn to a wide array of varied interests and passions... watching football with my son, even if it is via texting, holding season tickets to the theatre or hanging out with friends on the lake are just a few of my favorite things.
Singing in my synagogue choir (I'm an alto), taking classes in many subjects (I've become a Reiki Master) and volunteering my time (for many worthy causes) keeps me actively engaged in life.
loving + laughing + learning = Living.
A fan of great music... I love big band and jazz, as well as, the great vocalists of the American songbook. I enjoy other genres, as well, especially the music of the 50's, 60's and 70's. I can be found cooking Italian to Bocelli or preparing Shabbat dinner to Friedman. Music is a universal language that can soothe the soul.
I'm often described as the glue that binds my family and friends, as well as, the person with the best Matzah Ball Soup when you need some TLC. Having faced great loss, I understand that life continues and we must choose to live and celebrate each joyful moment.
ps... I really am my stated age and my hair is a silvery salt and pepper. Also, I appreciate men who can spell, use punctuation and don't have difficulty stringing two meaningful sentences together... in other words, no flirts please. Taking the time to write me an email is appreciated and will always result in a response from me. One final thought... if you've stated that you are willing to meet, date, marry someone in her 30's or 70's please don't waste your time or mine. Thank you!
