About Me
I have a Bachelor's in History from DePaul and am currently working towards a Masters in secondary education, hopefully teaching History at the middle or high school level. I have a very large and very entertaining family that keeps me very busy and whom I love very much. I am a big animal lover--in addition to the six kids in my family, we have a virtual menagerie of dogs, cats, and birds. I am a die-hard White Sox fan (that can be coaxed into going to Cubs games, I mean, I love baseball) and the outcome of their games makes or breaks my day! I love cooking, baking and tend to start listening to Christmas music sometime in October. I love being a student, and hope to eventually pursue a PhD. Now that the weather is warm, I love nothing more than to pack up my dogs and go for a long walk, finished with an iced tea or cocktail on the porch.
