About Me
The answer is "D" - all the above! I am happy, compassionate, empathetic, and more. On a whim, I drove 1,000 miles to help a friend move. Why not help out? It's fun and cool!
I am a born educator but have worked in many other fields such as web design, technical writing, software support, non-profit office management, etc. I'm also very involved in my congregation and love my "family" there.
I love to going out with friends, and though, I can't tango, I'm a 1st Degree Senior Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Sports are cool and although I'm not an expert in football/hockey I love to learn all about it. Then come spring, gotta keep up with the Yankees. I also like seeing a good tennis match and have Wimbledon on my Bucket list.
Movies can be fun! Though if you want to see a horror film with me, I need some TLC to get through it! I do enjoy many of the typical Chick-Flicks...but am always willing to see something new.
I love to cook and have catered a Smicha for 200+ people-- yet you can expect more of a Muppet Swedish Chef than a serene Martha Stewart. For fun you can't beat front row at a concert, seeing local bands, a tasteful wine tasting, or a rousing card game of Spit.
I'm a thyroid cancer survivor who, post-radiation went to a Halloween party as Glow Worm... I've been quite health-conscious ever since and will make weird smoothies that taste great! Even though there is “an app for that”, I still like to take notes on pen and paper.
I love to learn about people. Long conversations are way cool.
This is just the beginning so let's get silly together.
