So one might assume, based on my picture, that I am not in fact Jewish. Well, there is probably no side-stepping that one: I'm not. But a friend recommended JDate very highly to me, for having a higher quality of membership and so here I am. You see to me, friendship means open communication, caring, and trust. And I trust my friends to help me help myself out of my normal frame of mind into something enriched by them. The ultimate question I see here, be it for the purpose of dating, friendship or more is this: can you and I be friends? Who am I? When you shed the professional/educati onal/demographic bonds I feel like I am most correctly likened to my practice of yoga. A 10 year yoga practitioner, I seek balance, strength, and grace in both my physical and philosophical lives. Fun and humor are a must!I bring open honesty to a relationship. I believe that if two people listen and communicate they can weather the toughest storms together. I also believe that any special someone should be a partner, and that we together balance each other's strengths, weaknesses, wants, and needs. I am a fairly serious person, looking for someone who can face the serious but balance with fun, laughter, and intimacy. I am looking for someone whose communcation style matches my own. Listening and speaking openly is very important to me. Someone who can anchor me when I fly high, catch me when I fall hard. Someone thoughtful who also speaks and listens thoughtfully.
