I’m an open-minded, independent woman looking for an energetic, like-minded man, to be a friend, companion and lover, with an eye toward a lasting partnership in love and life.
Ideally, we like a lot of the same things but not necessarily everything. We make each other laugh, feel good and have fun together. We take care of each other.
I love living in upstate NY although I spent many years in NYC enjoying all it has to offer. But I felt drawn to the country, imagining life at a slower pace, more connected to nature. So I moved upstate 15 years ago and enjoy the tranquility, open space and star-filled skies. In my free time, which I have more of now that my children are older -- my daughter just graduated college and my son will start in September--I garden, take long bicycle rides, cook, swim, hike and dance--a lot. I enjoy movies--all genres, theater and art. I love music, all kinds, and especially enjoy hearing it live.
There are lots of things I’d like to do more of like kayaking, camping, cross-country skiing. Many more places I’d like to travel to--exotic, tropical and cosmopolitan venues.
But making everyday life fun is what I like to do best. I think almost anything can be fun with the right person.
I can’t imagine myself with someone who isn’t affectionate—I am.
