About you first: I am looking for a man with intellect, strength of character, self-confidence, and ability to engage emotionally. Wit, and philosophic depth and sophistication please too. late 40's to 60-ish.
I am capable of a deep, healthy, emotional connection. I am introspective, and being understood and appreciated are essential needs of mine. I have a LOT of personality, high social IQ., earthy, warm, happy disposition and a sizable sense of humor (self, others - everything) - can be saucy at times. I am very verbal, emotionally intense, and easy to get along with (a negotiator) – very forgiving and compassionate. I think a lot - philosophical and broad-minded. On the Bohemian side. Have both high and low brow tastes. Well-developed individual and female aspects of personality. Wear lots of makeup and jewelry. Looking for long-term.
Years ago I would have asked to be respected as an individual. Now I am asking to be treated as a woman.
I am a teacher, unemployed right now, and working on a Masters in Education. I have 2 children, ages 15 and 17. One lives with me full-time, the other lives out of town. I respect all political and social views (and certainly have my own). often interested and in any case willing to attend various cultural events, religious ones included.
Planning on relocating within the next year, probably to somewhere in the Northeast, but not decided yet.
