About Me
I’ve mastered the art of napping. I know most people talk about their accomplishments in politics and law (or marketing in my case), but I have to tell you, napping is one of those underrated skills that I’m just glad I have. Another odd skill: Remembering the strangest details. What’s your name? I have no idea. But, I will most likely remember where we met and what you were wearing. I could go on for five minutes.
In some ways, I like to do the “normal” DC things – go out to dinner, find a new place for happy hour, do Pilates, and enjoy all our city’s cultural opportunities. (I used to work in an art museum, so that definitely made it easier.) But in other ways, I like to break the mold – I am drawing again, my roots are in New Orleans (ever been to Jacques-Imos?), and, while I may not have my elevator speech down, my friends tell me I make the best *second* impression. I guess it just takes me a minute to warm up, but once I do, you’ll get a sense of the unexpected sarcasm behind my sweet exterior.
I’m looking for someone easy going, funny, settled in his life and career, and someone who I have amazing chemistry with. He can get along with any of my friends, from the nerdy to the creative, and most importantly, we can just have fun together.
