About Me
I grew up in upstate NY, went to college in Connecticut, studied abroad in the Czech Republic and just finished up grad school in NYC with a degree in Human Rights. Before you say "Human Rights? What are you going to do with that? Seems pretty intense..."-- I want to go play with kids in Africa, but only after I finish up my research fellowship here in DC. There is a special place in my heart for classic Disney movies, the Mets (especially the Piazza/Alfonso/Leite r/Agbayani era), museums and my broken-in Converse high-tops. I watch Jeopardy on a regular basis and Alex Trebek would find me pretty impressive. I played field hockey in college and can get pretty competitive, but a little friendly rivalry never hurt anyone.
