About Me
I have many passions but mostly I am passionate about experiencing life to its fullest. Music and the arts excite me - especially live music, musical shows and ballet. You will often find me in art museums or exploring the many wonders of our area which is so rich in natural and cultural venues and events. I am a movie junkie and host an Academy Awards Party every year. My career as an educator has been a central focus of my life and I feel fortunate to have a job that is challenging, fulfilling and fun. My biological family is small but I have cultivated close friendships and added them to my real family of two sons and a granddaughter. I am a life-long liberal Democrat and have an interest in politics and social justice. I believe that life is a journey not a destination and that it requires compassion, love, understanding, a good sense of humor, and patience.
