About Me

I have a quirky personality and a good sense of humor. I am a very creative person and have an incurable curiosity. I love to go hiking around the amazing parks here in Austin and love to go swimming. As much as I do love campfires, s'mores and sleeping under the stars I must have hot water and indoor plumbing when camping. I am an avid baker and usually fill my home with the aroma of homemade bread. Normally, it is challah or sourdough. My sourdough starter is now 6 months old and has quite a bite to her already! I've also been known to make some pretty damn awesome cupcakes and cookies! And like most people in Austin, I love going to the Drafthouse for movies, sing-a-longs, and quote-a-longs. Truly, the only way to enjoy Moulin Rouge and Labyrinth is at a Sing-a-Long at the Drafthouse! I very much enjoy playing board and card games. I keep Trivial Pursuit, Uno, Phase 10, and Scrabble in my car just in case the opportunity presents itself! I love to visit museums, zoos, and aquariums. My favorite cheap thrill is to visit the Arboretum Cows and enjoy Amy's Ice Cream. I am also a horrible putt-putt player but absolutely love the game! Same is true for bowling. I must disclose my addiction to my iPod touch......... with apps like Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, Words with Friends, and a few dozen other ones my iPod could be considered as addictive as a controlled substance. Essentially I am looking for a partner in crime. I am looking for someone with a good sense of humor, patience, and a sense of adventure.
