About Me
Light-hearted, joyful and a little bit wild, I am intensely intellectually engaged--in a variety of areas, especially the arts, and of the arts, most significantly with literature. A working literary novelist with many books and awards, independent and yet happy as part of a team of two, I just semi-retired from university teaching to have more time to write--but also to see where dating might lead. My physical life is as important to me as my emotional and intellectual. I’m high-energy and very active, but I can also sit still—I’m a natural at mindfulness meditation. Blessed with health and vigor, I spend at least an hour every day walking in nature. Widowed from a very happy--and somewhat famous--marriage three years ago, I have mourned like a champ, but now I’m very excited to see what—or who--is around the next corner. Could it be you?
