Right now, I'm wrapping up my second year of law school. I finally feel like there's a light at the end of the tunnel, and after living in the library for two years, I've decided its time to re-enter society.
I'm originally from the Philadelphia suburbs, and sometimes find myself waking up at 3am with an overpowering desire for cheesesteak. I recently rediscovered my passion for tennis, and it has completely consumed my life. I would LOVE to find somebody who knows how to play, or at least, who can hit. Before law school, I lived in DC and worked on the Hill. After that, I did some freelance translating to make ends meet. I enjoy exploring Philly, watching and playing sports, especially the Yankees, Eagles, and Army football. Red Sox fans beware! My family is very important to me. I try to stay in shape by hitting up the local gym. I'm not as diligent as I could be, and would love to find a workout partner.
I love joking around, though my sense of humor can take a bit of getting used to. Also, I love debating. If you can craft an argument that I can't counter, I'll do anything you want. I'll also probably melt in your hands. I think no person is complete without an endless supply of quotes -- be they from TV shows, movies, or famous people. My favorite shows are Law and Order, Family Guy, The West Wing, and Big Bang Theory. I really like going out to eat and trying new restaurants or bars. I'm trying to teach myself to cook, and as the cuts and burns on my hands can attest to, it's been a moderate failure. I can make a few dishes quite well, but beyond that... it's either pasta or ordering in. I have an unhealthy obsession with Hugh Grant and romantic comedies.
Although I am very involved in law school activities and work for a federal judge, sometimes, I just need to get the hell away from law school people. Seriously, have you ever noticed how boring law students can get? Help! Give me an excuse to leave for the day / night / afternoon!
