My soul is set to music. Fortunately, I found a way to be in a rock band, play Japanese taiko drums, and sing karaoke frequently while still having a great job, and now going to a great school. I try to experience everything that life offers: from hiking the exquisite waterfalls of Croatia (last year) to dining on raw animal heart in Japan (a few months ago) ... and for a guy who won't even eat cooked shellfish, it was unexpectedly amazing! I find the challenge of learning to speak Japanese exhilarating -- already speak a little Italian too -- as well as constantly educating myself. Reading (mostly non-fiction, but I can enjoy The #1 Ladies Detective Agency) and tennis are hobbies that might be supplemented by studies for an MBA in the near future. My grand lifetime goal is to explore as many UNESCO World Heritage Sites as possible: 34 down, 891 to go. Being new to Chicago land by way of the SF Bay Area, NYC, and DC, I'm sure I can find somebody here interested in a commitment.Does it make you feel good to help others grow? Do you have a "tell me what's wrong" sign on your forehead? Or perhaps you are a natural advocate who is easily talked into doing silly things? I want somebody to learn alongside, who sees us as equals -- and has the intellect to back it up. Somebody strong enough to give me moral support when I need it, and can set me straight when I deserve it.Update: I'm now an MBA student in Evanston. Woo!
