Seeking a woman who shares my quest for spirituality, companionship and natural curiosity. I enjoy the arts and am a student of music. I love the arts, nature, and people with a sense of humor who are willing to show it. I don't take myself too seriously, and am put off by those who do.I'm a warm engaging guy and am told I can be found attractive and enjoyable to be with. I'm into music (jazz and swing, blues, older rock), photography, reading and writing and, when possible, travel.Retired professor (lecturer) Western Washington University (Human Services and Education). I see myself as being open-minded (and if you don't agree you're a bigot), introspective, spiritually seeking, ethical and loyal to a fault. I am in the process of studying Judaism and am a likely convert. Studied for a year at Tel Aviv University but don't expect me to speak Hebrew! I love and have a reat affinity for the Jewish culture, people and traditions. I'm interested in lots of different things and a bit on the intellectual side, but not in a Volvo-driving, pipe smoking way if you get the drift. I am active in the community (Arts Commission, N.A.M.I. peer-to-peer mentor) and am very close to my family. I won't delude you into believing I am without liabilities, but at least I am aware and don't mind owning up to them. Nobody's perfect!I'd enjoy meeting a woman who is tolerant, capable of affection and who understands our time here is limited and we should enjoy what we have. Maybe each other.
