About Me
I am thinker who knows when to turn his brain off. I love considering abstract ideas about philosophy and the future of our society yet there is another part of me that loves to create a funny accent or crack a few mediocre puns for the sake of a laugh. I am very talented in understanding alternative perspectives and often consider becoming a diplomat or mediator one day. For the moment I am putting my strong ideals about social justice into practice by working in Chicago as a tutor, mentor and teacher for underserved high school students. Although I am only 21years old, I feel like I have learned so much about the world already. In college I studied abroad at least once a year including half a year in both Chile and Paris. I have attended a million-man political demonstration, hiked the Inca trail, and discussed socialism inside a total stranger’s house at 3am. Perhaps more important than all of that though is that I’ve gained the ability to live independently and have confidence in managing my own life. And I have chosen to lead a life of balance. I work hard when I need to but I make sure that I am always enjoying and smiling. I love being active- playing soccer or running, going to the beach, dancing at parties (I am a really good dancer), and exploring the city and I am looking for someone who has a similar passion for life.
