Friendly and kind, I'm looking for someone to love and share life's journey. " Searching for a heart of gold, looking for love in all the right places", I am a gentle outspoken soul with a poet's heart and a song in my head. Sometimes my thoughts come out as haiku poetry. I play a variety of musical instruments and enjoy singing, songwriting, and sculpture as well as the outdoors and keeping active (x-country skiing, swimming, nature walks, gardening, contra/squaredancing ). My 3 grown children are an important part of my life. I have a longstanding interest in the environment and alternative energy, and lately I've developed an interest in music and cognition. I have been on many long distance train rides, paradise on wheels for a songwriter. I probably have enough train songs to fill an album! My personality is mostly enthusiastic and fun-loving but also reflective and slightly shy. I continually create an attitude of gratitude and hope to find a companion, best friend, and the love of my life.
