About Me
Hi there! I never thought I'd be doing this, as everybody who comes to this site says. Who am I? I'm smart, funny and creative--I write (have been published in Newsweek). I serve on a board and beginning in 2013 I'm going to serve on another. I live in Montgomery County and am civic minded. For many years, I had a thriving interior design business-- even taught a six-session course on interior design at the Smithsonian (a lot of preparation for that!).
What am I looking for? For one, a great sense of humor! A traveler. I really do like going to the Kennedy Center to watch the ballet (recently saw Suzanne Farrell's co.) and good theater. I enjoy the company of another on walks and over dinner at a restaurant. And, if it works out, it sure would be nice to have someone to come home to again!
