About Me

i believe in integrating and celebrating my dark side - along with my best self - fully in my everyday life. we are all a little messed up and incredibly, complexly and frustratingly wonderful in our own ways. so being honest about everything is important to me, and important in the people i am attracted to. my work is important to me - and i do a lot - but i always make time for people i care about. i like to build stuff - in an abstract way - i build organizations and communities that make the world better. i am irreverently spiritual, introspective, independent and curious about people. i like big picture, spontaneous trips, real vacation in quiet bed and breakfast, good honest (even painful) conversations with people i love and anything related to arts, politics, and coffee. i am very curious about people - the people i am most attracted to are those who are honest, open, self-aware, intelligent, a little quirky, independent and irreverent. you need to been willing to cross some lines and break some stuff (preferably not inflicting physical harm to me in the process) you would be someone who knows a little bit about loss, have some handles on your emotional triggers and live graciously with the brokenness in the world and in us. i like someone who can sit and process what's happening at work and in the world (both bitch and celebrate with), yet can totally leave behind our busy lives and recharge somewhere remote and enjoy ourselves. loves to laugh, doesn't take herself too seriously but knows how to handle herself in company. (no on H8! it is an encouraging sign if you know what that means)
