Currently living in Westchester and commuting to the city. I work 5 days a week in Manhattan, 1 day a week at a vet's office in Westchester, and I usually volunteer on my one free day. So, I don't have much time to hang around, which is what I'd often like to do on the weekends. I love animals and am considering going back to school to study veterinary medicine so that I can pursue a career that entails my passion. (Must love dogs- if you don't, then don't bother...)
I can be talkative or quiet and pensive, adventurous or a couch-potato. I've been called a contrarian, but I think being such a thing makes for great conversation. I love good food, but am a very picky eater- I guess you could say I just know what I like. A bit of common courtesy goes a long way with me- I like to think chivalry is not dead. I'm a warm and compassionate person who loves to give and to help others, but I also have a sense of humor.
Likes: Animals (dogs, horses, cats, wild animals), dessert*, shopping, volunteer work, upstate New York, hot sunny days spent laying outside with music and a strawberry ice pop.
Dislikes: Smoking, poor grammar, spitting, tattoos, piercings.
*I believe dessert can be a meal unto itself.
