About Me
I am curious and playful and enthusiastic -- the child in me is very much alive. Speaking about children, I have three amazing kids/young adults: two sons (26 and 15) and a daughter, 22. i started in the field of journalism (as a student fresh out of college, I began working at the Jerusalem Post) and gravitated to my first love: psychology. I've always enjoyed learning more about people, first as a reporter, later, helping others knit their personal narratives as a psychologist. I love the field of dance and movement, psychoanalysis, and neuroscience and am working on combining these passions of mine. I am told that I put people at ease and they easily open up to me. I love the arts and the idiosyncratic and quirky. I like people who feel comfortable in their skin and see life in a sensuous way -- something I believe we are all born with. I see play, laughter and spontaneity as essential ingredients in a relationship as well as the capacity to trust, take risks, be vulnerable, listen deeply, be interested in and reflect on oneself and another. I am attracted to those who embrace life with all its ambiguity and complexity, who are kind and compassionate, and who care about helping others in need. More superficially, I am drawn to a man who is lean with warm and lively eyes. I love dance, yoga, racquet sports, biking, hiking, running, cooking, and travel. Reading, writing and listening to music are also high on my list. I enjoy my solitude. I welcome a relationship where we enjoy the freedom to stretch as individuals and as a couple.
