My friends, I think, would describe me as laid-back and (cliche alert) a nice guy. I know, who doesn't think that their friends would describe them that way? Full disclosure: if I get excited about something, my laid-backness sometimes slips into the background. :-) I enjoy the company of smart, witty, funny, appropriately (and sometimes inappropriately) sarcastic and creative people. There's nothing better than a GOOD conversation. I am politically involved, and predictably, love talking politics. (I do like talking about a myriad of other things, too.) I have my own, personal, non-traditional, evolving view of Judaism. Things that are important to me are: my family, my friends, music, my sports teams, the process of learning/gaining knowledge, tikkun olam. I believe in second chances, and generally try to see good in people. I think everybody deserves the right to express themselves freely. I constantly battle between making decisions with my head versus my heart. I value my happiness over the pursuit of material possessions. I think what makes you rich are the people that you surround yourself with.
