About Me
I'm originally from the NY area and have been in the Charlotte area for about seven years. I absolutely love it here and wish I moved here sooner. I am a special education teacher and work with small groups of students. I absolutely love my job. I enjoy going out and exploring the area and particularly like spending time at the Lake Norman parks, either walking or hiking the paths and trails. I love the water, especially scuba diving (I would love to do that so much more). Travel is a love of mine, but I haven't been out of the country for quite some time. You have to explore what's out there. I also am a big fan of the entertainment industry--enjoy watching TV and seeing movies. I especially love music and seeing it live. I have a large, varied music collection (I probably have every 80's hit in my collection. Go ahead, test me.) Self-improvement is also very important to me. I've been living a healthy lifestyle, especially over the past year, and it would be nice to meet someone who finds that important, too.
