Mother, daughter, sister, friend, artist, educator, traveller, lover Independent, intelligent, funny, graceful, creative, worldly, cultured, classic with edge, sophisticated and elegant but down-to-earth, degreed, thoughtful, happy, curious, always learning, empathetic, urbane, loyal, passionate, good to people, friendly, positive, optimistic (except when I'm sometimes not, though I like to think of that as being real). I work hard as an artist. It's important for me to engage in the world and make a positive contribution through creativity. Goals: live a fulfilling, meaningful, and creative life, to be aware, engaged, and if possible, find a partner (if he exists), and if not, live a great life regardless I spend time in California - specifically Los Angeles /Palm Springs, New York City, and London, England so I am open to messages from those environs as well as close to Toronto. Some qualities I hope for in a partner: Good communication skills, open, truthful, fair, respectful, even-tempered, relaxed but active, intelligent, independent, ability to exchange ideas, interest and knowledge of the arts Love of humour: laughing and finding / sharing humour through most situations, whether quirky, irreverent, off-the-wall Chemistry It would be great to meet someone and share a strong connection, basic values and some common interests. Differences are also good. While I have a view towards the long-term, I don't take it as a given. Meetings in and of themselves can be interesting and fun, even if it doesn't lead to anything else. If it did, all the better.
