About Me

So- me: I'm big on laughing, a bit sarcastic…but still idealistic in that “lets save the world” kinda of way, am liberal, love going to shows and music- mostly indie- down with reading the NYT over a good breakfast or just reading for hours, competitive scrabble player, I was a jellyfish for Halloween, I have a teal huffy bike and it's bomb, like to cook, and am prone to rants given a gin & tonic is in my hand. I try not to drink the cool-aid too much and try to think for myself. I'm veggy- but I don't really care if you/others are. I’m also very active and I guess athletic? This is new to me-- I just assumed everyone else did active-type stuff most of the time, but I've been informed otherwise. Is it possible to be an accidental athlete? I like sports in most forms....I have two tennis rackets and regularly make friends come out and play with me at FDR park before happy houring--even though this mostly just amounts to us trying to not interrupt neighboring courts games given I don't actually know how to play tennis. I just learned how to ski last season...and am itching to go out this winter. I also play ultimate frisbee, climb, run, and bike a fair amount. I really enjoy going out to Kelly Drive. I like trees, being near trees, and outdoorsy stuff. I appreciate sing alongs when they spontaneously occur, going to art museums, and traveling. Currently am a big fan of central/latin american traveling. I also really love being around positive people. Yes- and I just finished up my doctorate in social psychology. So I guess I’m Dr. Porqueno1. Other than that-- I just got a job as a Psychometrician....A ny chance you know what that is? It's less boring than it sounds....really!
