About Me
I laugh loudly and often. I for sure wear my heart on my sleeve and care deeply about the people in my life. I would say I fall heavily on the extroverted end of the personality spectrum, and language and communication are really important to me, but I also highly value alone time. I love both urban and rural life and right now I have a good balance of both- working in a city with urban youth while living in a culturally rich town surrounded by farms and rivers and mountains. I love making art, mostly with a camera, but sometimes with pens and sharpies or a sewing machine. My community and spiritual life are also really important to me and I continue to figure out new ways of building ritual and meaning into daily life. I think (a lot) about big ideas (and little ones!) and love to read fiction, poetry, The New Yorker. I am also invested in issues of social justice-feminism, racism, environmental justice-both in my work and out.
