I'm a physicist-in-trainin g with a strong desire to understand. I enjoy solving puzzles, figuring out the way things work, and systematically synthesizing the new knowledge into a useful framework. And a good comedy with a schmaltzy ending. Though I take my search for understanding seriously, it is useless without the opportunity to reap the rewards. And the simple pleasures in life are some of the most valuable, a chance to simply lay back and enjoy. I find this works well with sunsets (sunrises are nice, but they can be tiring to get to). I'm not exactly sure what the future holds, but I know it will overall be something great.
I have now started on my Master's at Creighton. Looks like I'm down to about six more years (going through Ph.D.) until the real world.
