About Me
Warm, smart and funny, politically on the left, my idea of a great evening is cooking a wonderful meal for people I care about and then talking together over dinner and beyond. I enjoy art and literature, like to design knitwear and clothing, enjoy painting, sewing and making things, and find humor as well as pathos in the ups and downs of everyday life. My work is very important to me, as are my two children (high school and post-college ages), and I love dogs. I love to travel, have lived in a number of countries, and my list for the future includes travel to the Galapagos, Vietnam, Machu Picchu, Banff, and a tiny fishing vessel going up the coast of Norway. I know Jane Austen forward and backward and I might beat you at Scrabble.
