About Me
I am a Jewish soil scientist/agronomist - a rarity. I enjoy (and get paid for) playing in the dirt. Although I grew up in a low-income housing project in NYC, my neshamah was in rural country. I think I'm the Jewish version of Oliver on the TV show Green Acres. I believe strongly in tikkun olam and am actively involved in sustainable urban agriculture. I am a former single parent. My kids are now grown. (I guess that makes me an empty-nester.) I'm an avid camper (all seasons). Since most of my camping is wilderness, my dog comes along. I exercise a lot - every day. I'm low maintenance and look for the same in my future partner-in-life. Foci in my life - my kids, Judaism, work, working out, my dog
