Very intelligent, funny, passionate and romantic, creative, kind , compassionate....... Politically aware progressive (even though that can be pretty frustrating these days)59 years young...Youthful in outlook and keep myself in good physical shape despite some bumps in the road along the way. I love music, and while my tastes are pretty eclectic, the big three for me are Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, and The Clash. But love all sorts of genres; Americana, rockabilly, blues, ska and reggae,folk, soul...even a good indie or punk band sparks my interest. Also, as I said,I'm very politically oriented; and with the rise of all the hate and ugliness of the right wing today, I see that awareness as a necessity and moral obligation. I enjoy various performing arts ; music, theater, dance etc. , everything from mainstream to experimental/ avant-garde...I enjoy other cultural activities too such as museums, but also enjoy the "low-brow" sometimes too. I have had my "wild years" ( way in the past) and consider myself more of an inner explorer now; spiritual, cultural, intellectual, artistic, and yeah, erotic too. I have an artistic soul ; I'm funny and light-hearted, but also have a deeply serious side, and feel things intensely...I embrace the sublime and the ridiculous, the light and the dark......And I'm a realist more than a pessimist or optimist. My creator made me a deeply passionate person, and a hopeless (or rather, hopeful) romantic, highly erotically charged, and with a boundless wellspring of love in my heart for all of creation and humanity as well as for one special woman, and I'm still a believer in finding a forever love.
