I graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, moved back to NY for a few years to teach SAT prep, and now I'm back in Boston for medical school. I just finished my first year, and I sincerely couldn't be happier! I grew up surrounded by music, but since starting school, I haven't been able to listen to new songs/artists too often. I get distracted too easily when I try to study with music on, so if you can get me listening again, I'll certainly appreciate it!
Some fun facts:
I don't get the whole "Flirt" thing. I don't respond to them because I have no idea how I should. So if you "flirt" with me and I don't respond, it's not that I'm not interested, it's just that I don't know what to say...
I couldn't imagine my life without Mel Brooks movies. I spent this past Christmas watching the Oy! To The World Marathon (when I wasn't celebrating Jewish Christmas at the movie theater and Chinese restaurant, of course).
I love my dogs more than just about anything, but unfortunately, they're in NY with my parents, so I have to load up on quality time with them every time I go home. I judge people based on their opinions of dogs. If you don't like dogs or you only like small dogs, I'm hardcore judging you...
I still haven't quite figured out how to type (on my laptop) without my palm accidentally hitting the track pad and moving my cursor to the wrong place. Some day I'll learn!
I'm really into setting fitness goals for myself as it's the only way to keep me motivated and working out. I've completed Insanity twice, run a 5k (I know, I know, people do that all the time, but it was big for me!), learned to ballroom dance, and I'm about to start Focus T25. Shawn T is my boy!
