My first instinct is always to smile. I am at a point where I know who I am and what I want out of life. I grew up in Brooklyn and recently returned after spending the last few years in D.C. I was in D.C. for law school and worked for a great non-profit for the last two years, which was incredibly fulfilling. I moved back to New York for a job that I expect to be just as meaningful.
I enjoy running and Bikram yoga. I started taking tennis lessons in the spring but then stopped when life got hectic with my move back to New York. I hope to get back into tennis once I am a little more settled.
I studied art history in college, so I enjoy visiting museums. Generally I prefer contemporary art, but one of my favorite exhibits is Alexander Calder’s mobiles - which is why the Whitney is one of my favorite museums to visit.
I frequently wander bookstores and am already starting to miss Politics & Prose in D.C. (I don't worry that there aren’t great bookstores in New York, it’s just that P & P is a special independent bookstore that can’t be matched in my opinion).
Being easy going, having the ability to laugh at yourself, and staying positive are important to me. I am very close with my family - especially my nieces. And, I believe I am a loyal friend. I always make time for the people that matter most and make sure that they know they are a priority.
