My first instinct is always to smile. Being easy going, having the ability to laugh at yourself, and having a glass half full perspective on life are important to me.
Random facts about me:
I was born and raised in Brooklyn. Although I don't live there anymore, it will always be one of my favorite cities.
I am a lawyer who spends most of the day talking about science.
I am a ridiculously fast walker. I have efficient walking syndrome and wish others would also develop this syndrome.
I love to read. I worry that iPads and Kindles are going to cause bookstores (the few we have left) to close. And I don't know if I'm more excited about the Science Times or my New Yorker arriving.
A long run makes everything better for me.
I wish more people in New York enjoyed politics. Talking about politics is one of the things I miss most about DC.
I enjoy my alone time. I have no problem going to a restaurant or movie by myself.
I have an awesome family that supports me in whatever I decide to pursue.
And I have the coolest nieces. They march to the beat of their own drum, and I like to think they get that from their cool aunt.
