About Me
I recently moved to Austin on a whim and am finishing writing my masters thesis. I am a Kansas and Tulane alum with MAs in Economic Development and African American History (respectively) (though officially I won't have the second until May). Basically that's a long way of saying I love to read. I'll be starting my PhD in a year and in the mean time am working on a number of journal articles, assisting on a book, beginning one of my own, volunteering with the ADL, teaching Hebrew school, and have begun trying to resurrect a domestic violence awareness organization (yes I keep busy). I also am a huge college sports fan (Rock Chalk!) and ferociously follow politics and current events (and just about ALWAYS have an opinion on them)
