You have a certain refinement, intelligence, and worldliness. You are a joy to be around and you travel well.
I am always smiling and look young for my age (about 8-10 yrs younger.) People always ask me why I am smiling. One of the reasons is I enjoy my job as an ophthalmic surgeon because it fills me with a great sense of satisfaction in restoring my patients’ sight. I had a 92 year old who sat in her room all day listless staring at the walls due to her poor vision. I performed surgery on her and now she is the life of the party at the nursing home. I also love having residents and medical students, and allied health professionals rotate through my office to learn ophthalmology. It fills me full of joy to see these students years later in the community or at ophthalmology conferences. In my downtime, I like to experiment with exotic spices in the kitchen cooking different soups and chili. My whole house is filled with smells of savory, thyme, and cumin. I also enjoy competitively noncompetitive sailboat racing on warm windy days on a nearby lake. I have a great relationship with my family and even work with my parents and my twin brother. I have also taken several vacations with my sister. One trip in Ecuador, we ventured down the Amazon River and through the jungle. I love travelling and I am energized about a future trip to South Africa with shark cage diving and a safari. (Don’t worry- You don’t have to go. You can stay on the boat and read.) I am also looking into some type of medical missionary trip although I see and operate on many new immigrants to the US. It breaks my heart to see them suffer from eye problems that can be treated in the US with our modern medical technology. I am here to meet the love of my life and have a rollicking family.
