What I'm looking for:
Loyalty, honesty, immediately making me aware that something is bothering them, not harboring it until they blow their stack and it becomes a major conflict. I will give them 100% of myself and expect the same. Infidelity is not in my vocabulary and shouldn't be in theirs. That includes chat rooms,etc..
My world is:
My children! Having a 22 year-old-girl (just completed college) who asked me (not her mother) to put her on the birth control pill after having been dating the same guy for 5 years made me see life from that perspective. I also have a 21 year-old-boy in his final semester of college who although very smart is "a chick magnet" and I find myself relating to the girls he interacts with as their father and one to a 22 year-old-girl. My 13 year-old will marry Justin Bieber and is saving herself for him, that's a relief since I know she's not interested in exploring any avenues other than that. My 3 children have influenced me, unintentionally!
